7/23 – Justification Through The Eyes of Jesus

God isn’t the one who brought the accusation but the one who comes to justify us from the accusation.

God isn’t the prosecutor, Satan means prosecuting attorney.

God declares us innocent

We had done wrong and sin, so its not about being innocent from wrong doing, but the accusation.

This is about God declaring us innocent of the accusation. We’ve misunderstood the accusation.

Our sin was the evidence that Satan used to try to prove the accusation.

We’ve confused the evidence with the accusation.

Even Jesus needed to be justified from sin, not that he was a sinner but from the accusation that He wasn’t the Son.
